The Food Bank of Iowa will be helping Perry area residents with a Mobile Food Pantry this weekend.

The next stop of the food assistance program will be tomorrow at Crossroads Church in Perry. There will be social distancing protocols in place to keep staff and participants safe. The pantry will be conducted as a drive-through service only, and vehicles will be numbered and served in order as they arrive. Organizers ask that participants remain in their vehicles at all times. When volunteers bring your food, they ask you to open your trunk or unlock your back seat doors to limit physical contact.

The Mobile Food Pantry will run from 9-10:30 a.m. at the church, which is located at 2810 1st Avenue on the north side of Perry. For more information on the pantry, including future stops in Dallas County, click the link below to visit the Food Bank of Iowa’s website.
