One person was injured in a single-vehicle wreck Thursday.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by Christopher Ellerbroek of Urbandale was driving in the 13000 block of N Avenue near Bouton. At 5:30 p.m. he lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason and left the roadway, crashing in a ditch. He was then taken to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines with injuries. The vehicle was considered a total loss and was towed from the scene. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
