As we get closer to the end of summer, Guthrie County residents are reminded of weekly farmers markets happening in local communities.

The Stuart Farmers Market takes place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. every Wednesday at Lawbaugh Park. For produce the market is offering tomatoes, corn, melons, cucumbers, berries, and peppers. There are also baked goods, honey, walnuts, eggs, aronia berries, and other goods. The “Square Fridays Flea & Farmers’ Market” in Panora takes place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. every Friday in the downtown square. Recent items offered include tomatoes, beans, kohlrabi, squash, zucchini, and onions.
