
A one vehicle rollover in Churdan results in charges Saturday night.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy, Churdan Rescue and Greene County Ambulance responded to the crash in the 900 block of 130th Street at 11:50pm. Thirty-six-year-old Jeremy Roper of Churdan was traveling on 130th Street when his 2017 GMC Sierra left the roadway and entered the north ditch. The vehicle then hit a farm field drive which caused the Sierra to roll onto it’s top.
Roper was taken to Greene County Medical Center with minor injuries. The airbags did deploy and the vehicle was considered to be a total loss. The report shows that an arrest warrant is being requested charging Roper with operating while intoxicated. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
