"Blue Wings" by Hilde DeBruyne

Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Tower View Team recently announced the winner of the Ring Out for Art contest.

Artist Hilde DeBruyne of Cumming received the most votes with her “Blue Wings” sculpture. For winning the contest, DeBruyne will receive an additional $500 first place prize on top of her $1,000 stipend that she previously earned as one of the three finalists. Her sculpture will remain on the Greene County Courthouse south plaza until next May. 

The monetary sponsor was Home State Bank of Jefferson, and the annual Ring Out for Art exhibit is co-sponsored by the Tower View Team and the Greene County Board of Supervisors.
