A new state grant program focuses efforts on getting people back into the workforce in Iowa.

Governor Kim Reynolds recently created the Future Ready Iowa Employer Innovation Fund. The grant program provides funding for employers, employer consortiums, community and non-profit organizations’ training, books, tools and other supportive tools to get people through training programs for high-demand jobs. The grant program is meant for those jobs that were affected or eliminated due to the pandemic.

Applicants must be aligned with at least one employer, qualifying initiatives must be tied to outcomes related to obtaining credentials for high-demand jobs and the grant funds must be used by the end of the year. Applications can be awarded up to $100,000 and will be accepted until September 16th. Click the link below for a copy of the application.
