The Panorama football team will face a familiar foe as they try to earn their first win of the season.

The Panther’s week-two matchup will be against a team they’ve seen twice over the last two years. Clarinda bested Panorama in 2018 by a single-point 28-27. As part of the Panther’s outstanding bounce-back 2019 campaign, they got revenge on the Cardinals. The game was as close as 6-3 after the first quarter. The Panorama’s offense figured out Clarinda and rolled to a 33-3 victory on the road. The Cardinals would go on to finish the year 5-4.

Last week the Panthers fell just shy of taking down the defending Class A State Runner-Ups in Grundy Center. The Cardinals also come in 0-1 after falling in their season opener 28-13 to Treynor. Wyatt Schmitt will be the primary source of production for Clarinda as he’s leading the team in both rushing and passer.

The game is set to start at 7 p.m. in Clarinda.
