Rain or shine, the Perry Farmers Market continues to be a success for Perry commerce.
It was certainly the coldest farmers market of the season Thursday as high temperatures hung around the low 50’s. Despite that, Perry Chamber of Commerce Director Lynsi Pasutti says it was still a fun environment, “We still had shoppers come out. We had our regulars that come right at four and others that trickle in throughout the night. There were still some sprinkles, but we still had a decent night overall. We’re kind of in that nice time period where you’re still getting some of the end of summer produce and into the fall and into those winter items that we’ll keep for quite a while.”
The Perry Farmers Market will run each Thursday through the end of the month from 4 pm to 7 pm, on 2nd Street between Willis Avenue and Warford Street. You can hear more about the farmers market and other Perry Chamber news on Friday’s Perry Fareway Let’s Talk Dallas County program.
