A Coon Rapids man was recently sentenced for a third violation of his probation from a Guthrie County case.

Court documents show that after a report of probation violations was filed on July 21st, 28-year-old Trask Allen Anderson has pleaded guilty and his probation has been revoked. Anderson must now serve up to 10 years in prison, and a $1,000 fine with a $150 surcharge have been suspended. Anderson was originally convicted of possession of a weapon in a correctional institution, a class C felony, for a May 27, 2019 incident when video footage showed Anderson turning a plastic food utensil into a shank inside the Guthrie County Jail while he was in custody for operating while under the influence. He was previously found guilty of violating his probation on July 30, 2019, and January 24th of this year.
