As positive COVID-19 cases continue to rise throughout the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area, Guthrie County has surpassed an 11% positivity rate.

According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Tuesday, Guthrie County is reporting an 11.3% 14-day positive average. Guthrie County had 29 new positive cases in the last week, increasing their total to 231, with 159 recoveries and five deaths. Adair County had 11 new positive cases increasing their total to 67, with 40 recoveries, and one death. Adair County is reporting a 6.1% 14-day positive average.

According to the state dashboard as of Tuesday, Dallas County added 101 new cases in the last week, increasing their total to 2,698. They also have 2,123 individuals that have recovered and 38 deaths. Dallas County is at 5.9% 14-day positive average. Greene County added 20 new cases in the last week, upping their total to 93 with 49 recoveries, and zero deaths. Greene County is at 6.3% 14-day positive average.

Statewide, there are a total of 81,345 cases, with 59,224 recoveries, and 1,286 deaths. Of the 745,755 people that have been tested, 662,874 were negative, a 10.9% positivity rate.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 66 hospitalized patients, with 15 in Intensive Care Units, and 13 admitted in the last 24 hours.
