3:15am: Nicholas Weber 20 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession/purchase alcohol by a person 18,19, or 20 years old 1st offense.

3:37am: Ashlynn Cook 18 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession/purchase alcohol by a person 18,19, or 20 years old 1st offense.

9:47am: A deputy investigated a theft that was found to have occurred in Beaver.

2:32pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint on E Avenue and 330th Street.

1:38pm: The Sheriff, Deputies, and the Iowa State Patrol assisted the Jefferson Police Department with the search of a residence for a wanted subject in the 700 block of West Sunset Street.

2:00pm: James Pena 22 of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

2:44pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1200 block of Orchard Avenue.

5:41pm: A deputy investigated a phone scam in the 300 block of North 17th Street, Grand Junction.

5:41pm: The Sheriff, deputies, and the Iowa State Patrol assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an area search for a wanted subject in the 700 block of West Sunset Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
