The Menlo American Legion is hosting their second semi-annual Fur-Ever Friend Walk this Saturday.

The walk will begin at 9 a.m. at the Menlo Community Building and registration is $25 which includes a t-shirt. Proceeds from the event will go toward the Puppy Jake Foundation, a Des Moines-based non-profit organization that selects, trains, and places service dogs with military veterans located primarily throughout the Midwest.
