The ADM school district is one big family, and right now they are helping one of their own in senior athlete Cole Williamson. Williamson has been battling cancer, and numerous athletes and students have been able to help support their teammate and friend. Many football players and athletes can shaved their head in support of Williamson, as well as post tributes to their friend in different ways.
ADM senior runner Nate Mueller won the cross country race in Winterset on Wednesday, and celebrated his way to the finish line with a C and a W on his hand, and gave him credit as well for motivation in his race. Even opposing schools have been finding ways to support the cause as well.
The Adel-Desoto-Minburn communities have been stepping up as well, with different ways to give back. One way is a Drive-Thru Harvest Dinner on Friday, November 6th at the Faith Lutheran Church in Adel. The event will be from 5-7 pm and will be a free-will offering with all of the proceeds going to the Cole Williamson family.
The Tiger community has the back of Williamson in his fight ahead.
