Guthrie County residents should be advised of several beggars night events happening around Halloween next weekend.

On Friday October 30th, Guthrie Center will be holding theirs from 5-6 p.m. downtown and 6-7 p.m. in residential; Panora is hosting theirs from 6-8 p.m., Yale will hold theirs from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and a special event will be held in Bagley that evening. Instead of a beggars night, the Bagley Fire Department will travel around the City as a parade. Residents of all ages are invited to dress up and stand in front of your house at the curb where the firefighters will toss candy to them. Those who’d like to be a part of the parade can line up on Main Street at 5 p.m. with the parade starting at 5:30 p.m.

Then on Halloween, Stuart will host their trick-or-treat from 5-6:30 p.m. downtown and 6-8 p.m. in residential, Casey and Bayard are both hosting theirs from 5-7 p.m., and Menlo is hosting trunk-or-treat on Sherman Street from 5-6 p.m. with residential from 6-7 p.m.
