A reminder that the Libertarian Senate candidate is making a campaign stop in Jefferson later today.

Rick Stewart is a former law enforcement officer and business owner. According to his campaign website, Stewart ran Frontier Cooperative Herbs for 24 years, and grew the business into a $200 million company with 300 employees. Stewart has ran for several public offices in the past, including as an Independent for U.S. Senate in 2014, Linn County Sheriff in 2016, and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture in 2018. He did not win any of those elections. 

Stewart will be at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center in Jefferson from 10-11am. The event is free, open to the public and masks are encouraged. The meet-and-greet is hosted by the Greene County Libertarian Party.
