A pair of “Patriot Parades” are taking place in Dallas County over the next couple of days.

Participants are encouraged to decorate their cars in support of Republican candidates for the upcoming general election. Stokely Lumber is organizing a “Patriotic Parade” Sunday afternoon in Perry. Staging will start at 12:30 p.m. at Stokely Lumber, with the parade beginning at 1 p.m. The Dallas County Republican Party is hosting a similar “Trump Train Trifecta Parade” in Adel Monday evening. The parade lineup starts at 5 p.m. at the Dallas County Fairgrounds. The parade will proceed to the Dallas County Courthouse in downtown Adel. Following the parade, Ambassador Terry Branstad and U.S. House Republican candidate David Young will speak at the Courthouse, along with other local Republican candidates.
