The Stuart Public Library is implementing its third phase of reopening since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting Monday October 26th the library will be open by appointment Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. All patrons will be required to have their temperature checked before entering, those over two years old must wear a face mask, and those 11 years old and younger must be supervised by a caregiver. The library has a very limited number of masks available to those who don’t have their own. Browsing time will be limited to 30 minutes per individual or family group, and computer access will be limited to 45 minutes. Any books touched are asked to be placed in the red baskets at the end of the aisles for staff to sanitize. The library still offers online, curbside, and home delivery services. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 515-523-2152.
