Greene County ISU Extension is hosting a series of workshops geared toward women in agriculture.

Annie’s Project is for women to become better business partners and owners by learning to manage and organize critical information on their farms. They can also learn to establish networks with other women in agriculture. Participants will also learn how to problem solve, record keeping, and decision-making skills needed in the agriculture industry. Extension Director Lori Mannel invites women to this introductory series of programs.

“If anybody that you know is wanting to learn more about agriculture, maybe they are just getting into a farming operation because of a family or a loved one has put it in their will, or you’re just interested, this is the perfect class for you.”

Annie’s Project is a six-week course that will be held on Mondays from November 2nd-December 7th from 9am-noon at the Extension Office in Jefferson. Cost for the course is $75, and the program is sponsored by the Iowa Corn Growers Association of Greene County and Farm Credit Services. Click the link below to register online.
