ADMs Nate Mueller has been able to put up an incredible career for his Tigers career, and will be hoping to finish with a flair on Friday afternoon at the state race. After a conference race win in Gilbert, and a district race win in Winterset, title number two will be the goal for one of the best runners of the state the last four years.

Mueller was able to achieve one of his best races of the season last week, running in a time of 15 minutes and 15 seconds, one of the best not just in his season but in the state of Iowa as well this year. Mueller is ranked the number two ranked runner for boys 3A in the state of Iowa only behind Humboldt’s Quinton Orr.

Competition is expected to be fierce and there could be some quick times, with Fort Dodge traditionally running at a fast pace.

Mueller, along with the rest of the boys cross country is continuing to get prepared for their state race on Friday in Fort Dodge, as the team will be looking to put up some great times and be competitive against some of the best from around the state.

The race will be happening in what should be good conditions on Friday afternoon, with the boys race to follow the girls with the race to begin at 4.
