A local chapter organization recently donated weighted sensory blankets to Guthrie County Hospital.

The Guthrie Center Royal Neighbors chapter donated the blankets, which Chief Nursing Officer Greg Opseth says they use often to help care for their patients from a holistic perspective. Opseth adds that the kindness and generosity of Royal Neighbors is very much appreciated, and they offer a heartfelt and sincere thank you for the donation. The sensory blankets wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Lillien Gilson, Jo Laughery, Jean Densmore, and Karen Sparks, as well as many community members that donated “fiddle” items and fabrics.
