The West Central Valley Wildcats basketball team will be stepping onto the court for their first practice of the season on Monday, as the Wildcats will be looking to put together another winning season on their watch. The Wildcats were able to put together their first winning season in over a decade as they were able to have a 12-10 record.
The Wildcats lost three key players from last years team due to graduation in Michaela Jaeger, Sidney Neal, and Jenna Merical, as all played some massive roles on last year’s teams and production that is going to be difficult to replace. That said, the cupboard is not empty, with their leading returning scorer from last year’s team in junior Madelyn Jaeger coming back, as she will look to highlight a very young team that does have a lot of talent.
The first game of the season will be on November 30th when the Wildcats play at home against Southeast Warren.
