Adair County reported one  new COVID-19 related death as cases continue to rapidly increase throughout the area.

According to the State Coronavirus Dashboard Monday, Adair County has eight new cases for a total of 290 total cases, 101 recoveries, and three deaths. Adair County has a 20.9% positivity rate. Guthrie County has 29 new positive cases since Sunday, increasing their total to 524 with 325 recoveries and 15 deaths. Guthrie County has a 20.9% 14-day positivity rate.

According to the State Dashboard Monday, Dallas County has 172 new cases since Sunday increasing their total to 4,584, ninth-most in the State. There have been 3,080 recoveries and 51 deaths. Dallas County has a 19.2% 14-day positivity rate. Greene County added 53 new cases, increasing their total to 303, 153 recoveries, and zero deaths, according to the State Dashboard. Greene County’s 14-day positivity rate is a 19.2%

Statewide, there are a total of 159,910 cases, more than 4,000 more than Sunday, with 101,198 recoveries and 1,843 deaths. The State has a 15.3% 14-day positivity rate.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 287 hospitalized patients, 51 in Intensive Care Units, and 48 admitted in the last 24 hours.
