West Central Valley Wildcat basketball was a season of excitement for the girls during the 2019-20 season, and they will be hoping to double down this year with another winning mark. One of the keys to the Wildcats success last year was tempo, and playing at a fast pace that allowed them to get quick buckets and also get turnovers as well.

Often times the Wildcats weren’t the taller team in matchups against other foes, but were able to counter with their athleticism and quickness and often force their opponents into difficult situations and didn’t know how to respond. The Wildcats have very quick guards and forwards as well, which helps them create and have a great full court press.

The Wildcats key to success on many nights this year will be creating a pace that they want to play at, and for this team, the only word that they know is fast.
