All Guthrie County school districts will be conducting remote learning leading up to Thanksgiving next week as per the county health department’s recommendations.

Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, Panorama, and West Central Valley schools will all utilize remote learning on Monday, November 23rd, and Tuesday, November 24th. District meals will not be provided on those days by the Panorama and West Central Valley districts. ACGC will not hold activities or practices from this Friday to November 30th, and the girls basketball game on November 23rd will be rescheduled. West Central Valley states that there will be no practices and other extracurricular activities the week of November 23rd.

Guthrie County Public Health’s guidance mentions that not having in-person learning on the 23rd and 24th would allow students and staff to remain at home with their families and away from others for 9-10 days before and throughout the holiday. This will help to stop asymptomatic and presymptomatic transmission of COVID-19.
