ADM Tiger basketball was able to show improvement throughout the first week of their regular season on the boys side, despite the fact that they lost their first two games.

The Tigers lost by 38 points in their first game of the season to one of the states best in DCG, but took on Raccoon River Conference favorite Ballard on Friday night and only lost by four in overtime. The difference between the two games was night and day for the Tigers, as they looked more confident and poised in their second and were able to shake away those opening night jitters.

The Tigers have been able to share the basketball well with 27 assists through 35 made field goals through two games, but will be working on their shooting percentage especially from deep, where the Tigers have hit 10 out of 42 through their first two games.

The Tigers will be back on the court tomorrow for Raccoon River Conference play, when they take on the Gilbert Tigers in Adel. The game will follow the girls game and will be broadcast on True Country K1079.
