The top-ranked Des Moines Christian girls basketball team was a bit too much to handle for the AC/GC girls team.

The Chargers fell behind early and only scored six points in the first quarter. From there AC/GC kept plugging away at the lead but never got back to within more than six. DMC would go on to run away with the game, taking home a 61-41 win in Guthrie Center. The Chargers fall to 1-1 on the young season and will try and get back in the win column Friday when they make the trip to Ogden.
