The Adel City Council voted to wait on approving the preliminary plat for Southbridge Plat 4 rezoning at their meeting Tuesday. 

The Council voted to push the approval for the preliminary plat for Southbridge Plat 4 rezoning until their next meeting to allow for more work to be done in relation to planning services and how that relates to future expansions. 

The Council approved the construction contract and bond for the water system improvements 2020, high zone water main project. The Council voted to wait on the action for amending the codes of the City of Adel, as it relates to mobile food units, until the next council meeting where the public hearing for the matter will continue. 

Finally, the council voted to approve the order of construction of the water system improvements 2020, high service pump building and fixing a date for hearing Thereon and taking bids. The public hearing date is set for January 12, 2021, at 6 p.m.

The Adel City Council meeting went into a closed session to discuss the annual review of the city administrator.
