Dallas Center – Grimes wrestling was able to compete in Indianola over the weekend, and got some good performances from some key wrestlers. The competition was good, with schools there including Indianola, Hampton-Dumont-CAL, Mason City, Perry, and Waverly – Shell Rock.

At 126, Jacob Fistler was able to go 3-0 on the day for the Mustangs, winning via a pair of falls and a decision as well. At 170, Connor Pertzsch was able to go 2-1 on the weekend as well, also winning via a pair of falls in a good performance. At 132, Kieran Shawhan was also able to go 2-1 on the weekend, as all three of these wrestlers were competitive in every match that they were apart of.

For this DCG team, they will be continuing to roll through their season when they host multiple teams at DCG high school this upcoming Thursday.
