Dallas Center – Grimes will be looking to build upon a solid 2020 for their athletic teams, one that saw a state champion in boys cross country, a state runner-up in girls cross country, softball and baseball teams that made state, and a wrestling team that sent wrestlers to Des Moines as well, and a volleyball team that was able to make it to state as well.

DCG has year in and year out been able to produce some great teams and athletes as well, and even though 2020 wasn’t perfect especially with the cancelation of spring sports. Every single DCG team last year was able to find success in many different ways, with a football team being ranked number 1 for multiple weeks in 3A, boys and girls basketball teams that were one game away from state, and many athletes that were able to produce some massive seasons.

2021 is one that could produce some even more excitement for teams across the board for Dallas Center – Grimes, as they hope that they find more success this year.
