The ongoing drought conditions continue to impact communities in the Raccoon Valley Radio- listening area

According to the United States Drought Monitor, Dallas County remains abnormally dry. The eastern third of Guthrie County is abnormally dry, while the remainder of the county suffers from moderate drought. Greene County is also in moderate drought except the southeast corner, which is abnormally dry.

The National Weather Service reported no new snow or precipitation for Guthrie Center, Perry or Jefferson over the past week.
