
The Greene County School Board will meet tomorrow night.
Under old business, the Board will consider approving the voluntary early retirement applications, the second reading of a new board policy on discrimination and harassment based on sex prohibited, as well as continue discussion on the former middle school property, and hear a COVID-19 update.
Under new business, the Board will consider approving the 2021 soccer, baseball and softball coaching contracts, a School Board Review Committee request for administrative costs to Woodward Academy and Grandwood and fundraisers. Additionally, the Board will consider approving several first readings of board policies including a revised policy on corporal punishment, mechanical and prone restraints, along with new policies such as physical restraint and seclusion of students, regulations for using those methods, use of the documentation form and a debriefing letter and meeting document of using those methods. The meeting will end in a closed session for the superintendent evaluation.
The meeting begins at 5:15pm in the new administrative/middle school building at 101 Ram Drive in Jefferson. The meeting will also be held electronically and the information to access the meeting can be found below.
