Wednesday, January 20th

4:21am: An officer checked the ATM at 200 West State after dispatch received an Alarm Activation from the machine. The officer found the ATM to be fine.

4:41am: A Jefferson officer assisted a deputy with a High-Speed Chase heading northbound on Hwy. 4. The deputy locked the vehicle’s speed at 80 mph while going north on the overpass on North Elm Street and began to pursue the vehicle. The chase ended in Webster County after the fleeing vehicle left the roadway and flipped several times. Three juveniles were injured and taken by Ambulance from the scene. The deputy will handle any charges coming from the matter.

7:30am: Everett Beebe advised of an Abandoned Bicycle in the 300 Block of East Washington Street. The officer placed the bike in the Impound Lot.

8:46am: The Greene County Ambulance Service advised of a car parked in their lot at 204 North Grimmell Road with out of state plates. The officer learned the vehicle belonged to a medical company working at the hospital.

3:50pm: An officer assisted a motorist experiencing vehicle trouble at 220th and Grimmell Road.

7:13pm: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Gallop Road resulted in Benjamin Holteen of Boone being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

8:37pm: Dawna Helms reported someone knocking on the side of her residence in the 700 Block of South Elm Street. The officers did not locate anyone in the area.
