
The West Central Valley Wildcats will host Saydel in a girls/boys doubleheader tonight.
The girls seek their fourth win in a row after a 47-29 victory over Woodward-Granger Tuesday night. Madelyn Jaeger leads the team with just over 20 points per game. The Lady Eagles come into Stuart licking their wounds after back-to-back losses to Perry and Prairie City-Monroe. Saydel features a balanced offense, with four players averaging over 5.5 points per game.
The boys come in looking to break a 10-game losing streak that extended Tuesday. Hunter Keller is shooting over 51 percent from the floor, averaging just over 14 points and 5 rebounds per contest. The Wildcats defeated their last Heart of Iowa foe Perry 54-48 for the team’s only win this season. Saydel’s boys team fell 65-19 to PCM. Judd Roberts is the Eagles’ leading scorer, putting up 12 points per game.
The varsity doubleheader begins at 6 p.m.
