Dallas Center – Grimes boys basketball competed on Saturday in a non-conference game over Gilbert, and got some sharp performances throughout the day, cruising to a nice 81-53 victory. Mustang hoops improves to 11-1 on the season while Gilbert falls to 6-7, in a masterclass showing offensively that saw a unit score at least 15 points every quarter.

Junior Cole Glasgow was able to put together another great performance with 25 points and 9 rebounds on the day, and senior guard Luke Rankin was able to add another double-double with 13 points and 11 assists as well. Junior Bo Huston was able to add 12 points to the team tally, as the team shot 54% from the field, which included 19 assists on 33 made baskets.

DCG will have more games this week starting tomorrow, with matchups at Grinnell and against Indianola coming up on the docket.
