West Central Valley basketball ends its homestand tonight with a doubleheader against Southeast Warren.

The contest was rescheduled from the end of November against the conference foe.

The Wildcat boys will be seeking back-to-back wins after defeating Saydel Thursday with a stifling defensive effort. They’ll need to contend with a pair of Warhawks who average double-digit points per game in Cade Nelson and Mason Merfeld. Hunter Keller has put up nearly 15 points per game for West Central Valley this season. The Warhawks are winless on the year.

The girls matchup features a pair of evenly matched squads, with the Lady Warhawks entering Stuart with a 9-4 record on the year. Sophomore Alivia Ruble averages a double-double per game with 12.8 points and 10 rebounds. Josie Hartman is their leading scorer with 14.8 points per game. The Lady Wildcats will look to extend their winning streak to five straight at home.

Tipoff for the girls’ game is 6 p.m. with the boys to follow.
