ADM Tigers girls basketball returns to the court tonight as they will be looking to take on their fourth consecutive ranked opponent in girls 4A, when the Toreadors of Boone come to town in the first matchup between these two teams this season.

On the 1/21 recent rankings for girls 4A via IGHSAU, Boone was able to climb into the rankings at the number 13 spot. The Toreadors come in with a 6-5 record while Adel-Desoto-Minburn comes in with a 4-11 record, and looking to break a five game losing streak as well. ADM has won the last four in the series though historically Boone has seen more success since 2008 with a 15-8 series lead. The Tigers will be looking to slow down one of the most talented players in the conference in Emma Dighton, with the senior averaging 15 points per game and 7.9 rebounds per game.

Both teams will be looking to avoid slow starts with this game being the first one of the week for both teams. Tip time will be at 6 o’clock, and you can listen to the game on True Country K1079.
