Dallas Center – Grimes wrestling will be returning to the mat tonight when they take on multiple schools at home in Newton, West Des Moines Valley, and Ames all coming to Grimes.

DCG is coming off of a nice team performance in the Ed Winger Classic in Urbandale last Saturday, having three different wrestlers finish in the top four against some of the best wrestlers in the state. The challenges continue tonight against three programs that are well established in the wrestling community, as the Mustangs hope to be a good challenger against them all tonight. They will need to continue to be patient down the stretch as they continue to get geared up for big matches in the future, and hope that tonight can be a good stepping stone for their big goals for their team.

Match times for the Mustangs will include taking on Newton at 5:30, West Des Moines Valley at 7:00, and Ames at 8:30. It’s a challenging stretch for the Mustangs, but with the Little Hawkeye Conference tournament just two days away, it should be good warmup matches in front of their home fans.
