
Multiple fire and rescue departments in Greene, Adair, Guthrie and Dallas counties were awarded $750 from the Landus Core Grant program.
Landus donated a total of $49,500 to 66 communities in Iowa to help with updating and improving equipment and services, facilitating emergency response in local communities and surrounding areas. The Landus Core Grant program was established in 2019.
The full list of grants awarded in the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area include fire departments for Adair, Bayard, Churdan, Grand Junction, Guthrie Center, Jefferson, Paton and Perry, along with Greene County Ambulance and Churdan and Grand Junction Rescue were part of the organizations that received grants.
