Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys basketball found out about their postseason fate yesterday with the release of the Class 3A Substate 8 basketball bracket.

The Tigers were able to secure a home game for their first round matchup against the Harlan Cyclones on Monday February 22nd. The Tigers and Cyclones have not faced off since 2017, with the Tigers winning the last matchup, though Harlan leads the overall series 6-1 since 2010.

The winner of that game will take on the winner of top seed in the district Dallas Center – Grimes/Perry, with that game to be played on Thursday, February 25th. The substate championship will be played at Atlantic High School on Monday, March 1st with the winner to advance to Des Moines.

ADM still has three regular season games before their tournament run begins with Carroll tomorrow, at Norwalk Tuesday, and at home vs. Newton next Thursday.
