Moving into Valentine’s Day on Sunday there is the perfect kick off this weekend in Perry with the Chocolate Walk.
Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says there are multiple businesses that are participating in the 18th Annual Chocolate Walk this year. Pasutti says this year looks a little different due to the ongoing pandemic.
“With COVID a lot of the chocolate will be pre-packaged and just ready to grab and go as opposed to you know eating there, enjoying there.”
Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the event is a good way for people to get out and see what is new at local businesses.
“It’s really a way to get people out and see what’s news. Interact with these stores that maybe you’ve never been into, maybe you’re a regular but kind of at this seasonal time whether you’re looking for an actual Valentine gift, or you’re just having a fun girls day out, or if you’re looking for the new spring items at these businesses. It’s a great chance to do that.”
The $10 tickets for the 18th Annual Chocolate Walk can be purchased at various locations throughout town including the Perry Chamber Office and Ben’s Five and Dime, Raccoon Valley Bank, Hotel Pattee, Perry Perk and Alice’s Haus Dresin and can be purchased all the way up until the day of the event as well.
