Greene County High School head wrestling coach Zach Beekman told Raccoon Valley Radio his guys are fine mentally and physically after Tuesday’s 51-30 dual meet regional loss in Winterset to Clarion-Goldfield-Dows. It’s all eyes ahead to Saturday Class 2A District 1 tournament in Adel at ADM high school.

“Our guys are fine. We had good conversation after the regional dual. I told them when we come out of the locker room we’re not worried about the regional dual, we’re not worried about whether you won or lost your match. Our focus is on districts.”

The coach added, “We’re healthy, we feel good, and our motivation is good going into districts. Things are going to work out. We’ve got some guys that are really gunning for a State qualification.

Wrestling on Saturday in Adel starts at 12 p.m.
