12:48am: An officer assisted a deputy on a Traffic Stop at 190th & N Ave.
2:59pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 500 Blk. Of West State Street.
3:17pm: Mike Goodwin reported that a male customer had flipped him off and used profanities towards him at 106 West Washington Street. He provided the officer with a plate number from the subject’s vehicle. The officer is investigating the reported event.
3:20pm: An officer investigated an accident at Washington and High Streets. A 2010 Dodge Avenger, owned by Heather Kinsey and operated by Peyton Kinsey both of Jefferson, was southbound on North High Street. Kinsey failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle at the uncontrolled intersection at Washington Street. the 2019 Ford Edge, owned and operated by Katherine Pittman of Jefferson, was eastbound on Washington Street. The vehicles collided in the intersection causing a reported $800.00 in damage to the Kinsey vehicle and $400.00 to the Pittman vehicle. Kinsey was cited for, “Fail to Yield to vehicle on Right.”
3:54pm: An officer investigated an accident at Lincoln Way and Vine Streets. A 2003 Chevrolet Malibu, owned and operated by Emma Olson of Perry, was northbound in the 100 Block of South Vine Street. Due to slick road conditions, Olson slid through the posted stop sign at the Lincoln Way intersection and struck a westbound vehicle. The 2010 Chevrolet 2500 was owned and operated by Rodney Scheuermann of Scranton. Damage to the Olson vehicle was reported as $1000.00, while the Scheuermann vehicle had a reported $400.00 in damages.
4:11pm: An officer investigated an accident at the uncontrolled intersection at Pinet and Harrison Streets. 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee, owned and operated by Jaclynn Cunningham of Jefferson, was unable to stop due to slick road conditions and collided with a southbound vehicle in the intersection. The 2011 Kia Sedona was owned and operated by Angela Murphy of Jefferson. The Cunningham vehicle suffered a reported $500.00 in damages, while the Murphy vehicle had a reported $700.00 in damages.
10:57pm: An officer checked on the ATM at 200 West State Street after an Alarm Activation from the machine. The ATM was secure.
