ADM Tigers basketball competed on Friday night against the Tigers of Carroll in Raccoon River Conference play, and were unable to get a victory on either side, with the girls falling 71-57 and the boys falling 66-53.
On the girls side, the offense was clicking as the Tigers were able to put up some great shots and put up some buckets, but the defense struggled all night long as Carroll put up one of their season highs in points. Nicole Storek was able to put up a great game, with 25 points along with 10 rebounds as well, showing a strong presence on the inside. ADM moves to 8-14 and Carroll to 10-10.
The boys fought hard but couldn’t keep up with the number 5 team in 3A, as Carroll was able to maintain distance for most of the night. The Tigers were able to get 16 points a piece from both junior Sam Hlas and senior Tate Stine-Smith, providing solid nights on the court. Carroll had junior Kaleb Booth had 29 points on the night.
Both teams have big games in the near future, and hope to have some big games with districts around the corner.
