
ADM Tiger basketball had a tall task on Saturday night against the number 3 team in class 4A in the Dallas Center – Grimes Fillies, and stay in the game throughout the night before bowing out in a 52-39 loss. DCG continues their tremendous season at 19-2 while ADM finishes out at 9-15.
ADM played their tall’s off in their final game of the season, trailing by only six at halftime 23-17. They were able to play some great defense during the first half DCG had a key third quarter as they put up 11 points while ADM only was only able put up two points in the frame. ADM put up a high scoring fourth quarter, but DCG was able to melt time off the clock to spoil the ADM effort.
ADM was able to get a terrific performance out of senior AJ Smith, putting up 13 points in her final game in a Tiger uniform. Sophomore Nicole Storek was able to put up 12 and senior Grace Hardcastle 9. DCG had four different players in double figures.
For ADM, it was a season that showed up nearly night in and night out, and despite the loss, laid it all on the line.
