Final statistics from the Greene County High School girls’ basketball season are posted on the Varsity Bound website. Coach Todd Gordon’s team went 6-13, doubling the number of victories from the previous season, despite playing three fewer games.

The Rams averaged 30 points per game with junior post Brianna Habben leading the way at 10.8 points per contest. Habben also led the Rams in field goal percentage (44.3%), rebounds per game (9.2) and blocks shots (31), and was second on the team in assists (22).

Senior Sadie Wilson was the number two scorer at 5.1 points per game and she led the team in made three-point field goals (27) and free throw shooting percentage at 80% (8 of 10). Seniors Makala Kafer, Brianna Osterson, Lily Muir, and Eliza Carlson, scored 4.7, 4.4, 1.7 and 1.3 points per game respectively. Osterson led in assists for the season (26) and steals (46).

Sophomore Natalie Heupel averaged 1.5 points and sophomore Emma Hoyle averaged one point. Those were the primary eight players employed by Coach Gordon.

The team shot 31.4% from the field, 18.5% from three-point range, and 50.3% from the free throw line.
