
A Des Moines woman was recently sentenced for a crime that occurred in the Guthrie County Jail in August.
According to court documents, 43-year-old Tracy Lehmann pled guilty to possession of electronic contraband in a correctional facility, a Class D Felony. She was sentenced to two years probation and fined $750.
Lehmann was arrested by Stuart Police August 27, 2019 for violation of a no-contact order. She was transported to the Guthrie County Jail, and while in an interview room, she used her cell phone and charger and made several calls. After being placed in jail early the next morning, a Guthrie County Deputy discovered that she had taken her phone into the jail cell.
