12:05am: Joe Burchfield requested an officer at 708 South Locust Street for a Civil Property Issue.
12:44am: An officer located an Unsecured Door at 101 East Lincoln Way Street. The officer secured the door after a walkthrough of the building.
6:28am: Katie Smith reported her vehicle was stolen from 777 Wild Rose Lane. Smith later advised it was a miscommunication with her ex-husband and he had permission to take the vehicle.
9:31am: The Greene County Medical Center Emergency Room contacted an officer about a Dog Bite, which had occurred on 02/26/2021. The officer is investigating the reported event.
12:30pm: Vicki Waterbury reported she had received Scam Messages on Face Book Messenger. The scammer attempted to make it appear it was her aunt sending the messages. They were asking for personal information and money to be sent on Gift cards to take advantage in a business deal. Waterbury recognized this scam and did not incur a loss.
3:33pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Washington Streets resulted in Connie Lynch of Co. being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
4:07pm: Erin Aalfs reported her juvenile daughter was missing after the early out at school. As the officers were gathering information, the child returned home.
8:48pm: Nellie Petterson requested an officer at 107 North Olive Street. She reported she was being abused by her juvenile daughter. The officer arrived and spoke to all parties at the residence. He learned they were having a family argument and worked to diffuse the issue.
