Nodaway Valley girls basketball will be on the court this morning when a pair of undefeated teams take the court against Maquoketa Valley in 2A girls semifinal action in Des Moines. Both teams enter the contest at 24-0, as both teams will be looking to make it to the state championship game tomorrow.

Nodaway Valley is coming in as the four seed and a 53-47 winner over North Lynn Tuesday, while Maquoketa Valley overcame a halftime deficit to grab a win over Rock Valley.

The Wolverines will be hoping to control the tempo of the game by playing quick, and making the Wildcats uncomfortable with the picked up pace. Both teams also will be relying on their starting fives quite a bit, so both teams will need to avoid foul trouble.
