Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers girls track and field team competed in their first relay of the season on Monday when they were in Cedar Falls for the Dickinson Relays.

The Tigers were able to get a great beginning of the season from sophomore Geneva Timmerman, who was able to put up a third place finish in the 3000 meter dash with a time of 10 minutes and 41 seconds. Junior Olivia Tollari was able to put together a special day in general, starting with a 3rd place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.6 seconds, a extremely quick time.

Tollari was able to get third in the entire event in the long jump with a 17 feet 1 inches on her jump, and sophomore Alexa Seidl, 15 feet 9 inches on her jump which was good for eighth in the competition and the top mark for any sophomore.

The Tigers will now get more days of practice before they compete in their next event on Saturday, March 20th down at Central College in Pella.
