With spring and the warmer weather that comes with it being right around the corner, it’s time to brush up on preserving your hard grown foods. 

Iowa State University Extension and Dallas County Extension and Outreach is offering three virtual courses to help prepare people for preserving their home grown produce. The “Preserving the Taste of Summer” classes will instruct on canning, freezing and drying foods and give up-to-date resources.

The free course will have three offerings, 6:30 p.m. March 25th and 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. April 15th. While the course is free to attend, registration is required.
